Preface:

"I Am" is the most empowering statement a person can make. By doing so, you call upon the spiritual energy of the god within you to find love and peace with all that is. By stating that you are "I Am", you open your spiritual self to all the possibilities of the universe and become at oneness with all. With this declaration, a person can overcome the limiting beliefs acquired throughout their many lifetimes and put an end to their Karma. Where you are in life is the result of every decision you ever made…What you believe becomes your reality!

"I Am…" The God Within

So, don’t get turned off too quickly! This book is not about religion: A religion usually follows the imposed beliefs of other’s cultures; marriage, traditions, diets and dress codes, etc. to tell us what God wants us to do. Conversely, spirituality is understood to be one’s personal connection to God. The question then arises, who is God? (you are)

Who is "I Am"?

This book is a collection of spiritual, channeled message from "I Am"… the God within. The following is a brief explanation of the origin of "I Am" which is the accepted belief of much of the civilized world. It originated in the Hebrew Old Testament story of Exodus (3:14)

Abraham was a man featured in the Book of Genesis. Many monotheistic faiths, Jewish, Christian and Muslim traditions alike regard him as the founding patriarch of Judaism and monotheism. Abraham means "Father of Nations". Abrahamic religions account for more than half of the world's total population.

was a man featured in the Book of Genesis. Many monotheistic faiths, Jewish, Christian and Muslim traditions alike regard him as the founding patriarch of Judaism and monotheism. Abraham means "Father of Nations". Abrahamic religions account for more than half of the world's total population.

God promised Abraham that through his offspring, all the nations of the world will come to be blessed. Jews, Christians, and Muslims consider him father of the people of Israel through his son Isaac. (For Muslims, he is a prophet of Islam and the ancestor of Muhammad through his other son Ishmael - born to him by his wife's servant, Hagar.

The Hebrew Bible states that Moses…A slave from Egypt traveled through the wilderness to Sinai, the Mountain of God. There God revealed Himself from a burning bush and said, "I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob….Moses asked of God, what is your name? And God said to Moses, " I am who I am."

"I am that I am" became one of the most famous verses stemming from the Hebrew conception of monotheism that God exists within each and everyone and by himself, the uncreated Creator who does not depend on anything or anyone; therefore I am who I am. In revealing his mysterious name, YHWH ("I AM HE WHO IS", "I AM WHO AM" or "I AM WHAT I AM"), God states who he is and by what name he is to be called. This divine name is mysterious just as God is mystery. It better expresses God as what he is - infinitely above everything that we can understand or say: he is the "hidden God". He is the God who makes himself close to men. "I AM", reveals himself as the God who is always there, present to his people in order to save them.

Additionally, some claim that according to traditional Christian interpretation, the New Testament testifies that Jesus Christ declared He is the great "I Am" of the Old Testament. In the book of John verse 8:58 Jesus says: "before Abraham was, I am". Jesus goes on throughout the New Testament ascribing his deity by the use of this word: I am… bread of life, I am… light of the world, I am… from above, I am… the door, I am… good shepherd, I am… resurrection and the life, I am… way, the truth and the life, I am… true vine, I am… Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, said the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty, I am… first and the last, I am… he that live’th, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore.

Unfortunately, those of little faith do not believe that God exists within each and everyone and by himself, the uncreated Creator who does not depend on anything or anyone. However, with the raising of consciousness, the channeling of spirit has brought new information to humanity to prove He is the God who makes himself close to men. "I AM", reveals himself as the God who is always there, present to his people in order to save them. "Save them" is interpreted as showing the way back to the light, love, and peace in our present lifetime.

Introduction:

"I Am" Bob Cecilio and after my spiritual awakening in 1993 I became a channel for spiritual messages and began keeping a journal of them… Until then I was unaware of who "I Am" was. "I Am" are to two most empowering words know to mankind. When you speak them aloud they declare your God like qualities and intentions…

Before going further I’ll give you a simple definition for what a spiritual channel is. Psychics give information mostly associated with what is happening presently in our lives on the earth plane. A medium can also give psychic information but deals mostly with spirit communication. He is the man in the middle (hence the name medium) between the client (sitter) and the spirit of people that have died. Mediums are usually clairaudient (clear hearing) or clairvoyant (clear seeing). Mostly, messages or information received pertains to what they were while in physical form. This is so the client/sitter can validate the spirit is genuine and helps prove the existence of an afterlife/heaven, giving hope that they will be reunited. Both are considered channels because they are "channeling" spiritual energy or information through them, either awake or in a somewhat altered condition of consciousness. A medium’s messages are usually short, and sometime they include visual descriptions and symbols. In general these messages only benefit those immediately connected in some way or other to the person that has passed/crossed over to the other side. These messages are readily accepted because they can give comfort and closure, and can be validated by the person for whom they are intended.

As for channels, they are considered to have a direct connection to one specific type of spirit of greater wisdom, usually an Ascended Master such as Jesus, Buddha, and Arch Angels. Clairaudience is the main method of channeling and it incorporates messages in complete sentences, and even paragraphs, most often for the raising of consciousness and the betterment of humanity. However, some have also been known to channel great artists, musicians, and scientists. Unlike with a medium, how does one validate channeled messages for which they have no reference or connection? The most common way is sensing it if their body resonates to the message, usually with a chill or the hair on their neck or arms standing up. All of the prophets, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed all claimed to have received their philosophies from spirit.

I continued journaling my channeled messages until 1998, when I felt it was time to put them in book form. My first book was "God Explains"…All that is I Am. It was an autobiography of what led up to my becoming a channel for Jesus. The messages were philosophical and pertained mostly to love, peace, oneness, and the raising of consciousness. Prior to channeling I had no knowledge of any type of spirituality or "Oneness"… It is not because of my ego/arrogance that I present this information but because I was willed by Jesus to do so. The messages were channeled through me but meant to be shared with all humanity. The book ended with my most recent channeled message at the time, it was about a different definition of God:

"Many things must finish their course. Do not give up for I have told you it will be. When they come to fruition you will embark on your true mission of teaching of "God Is."… "God is one. God is all. God is everyone. God is everywhere. God is everything. God is everlasting, all that is being. God is perfect spiritual energy."

"God is one. God is all. God is everyone. God is everywhere. God is everything. God is everlasting, all that is being. God is perfect spiritual energy."

Mentally I replied, "I am confused by so many different cultural and religious teachings."

Jesus replied, "Do not give power to things that are not. All that is, is not. All that is not, is. Do not accept the thoughts and feelings of others for they shall take away your thought. Be one with what is and you shall be that I am. All that is I am."

If you follow these these messages they will change your life by removing all outdated beliefs and empowering you by opening you to the higher consciousness of the universe because we are all connected.

"God Explains" told of my awakening to spirit. I believe now that everything happened for a reason. The events that lead me to this part of my life, the people that came into my life and the channeled messages I received were all part of my purpose in this incarnation. The book and its messages have since become the guideline for my teachings and personal life. Since then I have channeled messages that are included in my following books, "Spirit in the Flesh"…Removing limiting beliefs about your psyche and your soul, "Understanding Your Karma"… A new teaching, and "When Spirit Speaks"… you should listen?
